Public Car Parks

Both local car parks accept payments via the RingGo mobile app.

Short Stay: The Strand Car Park

• approx. 1-minute walk.

• Spaces: 21 total (including 2 disabled spaces).

• Charges (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).

• Rules: Maximum stay of 2 hours with no return within 2 hours. Only one free 30-minute ticket is permitted per charging period. 

Long Stay: Barton Hill Car Park 

• approx. 4-minute walk.

• Spaces: 245 total (including 4 disabled spaces).

• Charges (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM): up to £6 for more than 4 hours.

• Stay Limit: Maximum stay of 48 hours. 

Tips

• Both car parks are free overnight (from 6pm to 9am in summer and 4pm to 10am in winter).

• Motorcycles: Parking is free in designated motorcycle bays within Council car parks.

• Longer term pay and display can be found at the Train Station Car Park which is only 5-10 minutes walk away.

• Weekly Car Park Permits can be purchased at a cost of £24.00, this entitles you to park your vehicle at (Long Stay) Barton Hill and (2 hours only) The Strand, and most Teignbridge District Council Car Parks. Permits can be purchased from www.teignbridge.gov.uk (allow 7 days for delivery) or www.myringo.co.uk (code 7734).
